Access & Parking
Anglers must use official car parks as shown on the map. Anglers fishing at night must use the Mill Road car park.
Night fishing for coarse fish (Main River) is restricted to the east bank from below the Compound to the Footbridge and the West Bank from below the Parlour to the Railway.
General Regulations
All anglers must have the appropriate permit and rod licence before entering the fishery.
The Main river and Compound fishing times are from 7.30am to one hour after sunset day tickets and one hour after sunset to 6am for night tickets.
The Parlour fishing times are from 6am to 12 midnight.
All game fish must be returned to the water immediately. Barbel and Carp must not be retained in keepnets.
No Pike fishing before 1st October.
Spinning is restricted to Pike anglers only between 1st October and 31st January.
No wobbled pike baits after 31st January
Two rods are allowed, but must be attended at all times.
No Lobworms. Small single worms only.
No fishing from bridges at any time.
Anglers must take home their litter.
Anglers must not put unwanted bait in the river when they have finished fishing.
